3. Rates and Payments
Shipping rates are determined based on route, freight type, distance, and current fuel conditions.
- Quotes are valid for a limited time (typically 7 days).
- Payment terms will be detailed on the invoice or service agreement.
- Late payments may incur finance charges as allowed by law.
Steady Fleet Logistics reserves the right to modify rates or terms at any time prior to service confirmation.
4. Freight Liability and Claims
We are committed to the safe and timely delivery of all shipments.
However, Steady Fleet Logistics is not responsible for delays or damages resulting from:
- Acts of God (weather, natural disasters, etc.)
- Mechanical failures beyond our control
- Strikes, accidents, or road closures
- Incomplete or inaccurate shipping information provided by the customer
Any claims for lost or damaged freight must be submitted in writing within 30 days of delivery or expected delivery date.
5. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate shipment details (weight, dimensions, value, classification).
- Ensure all freight is properly packaged and labeled.
- Comply with all applicable federal and state shipping laws.
Customers are responsible for any penalties, fees, or damages arising from incorrect or incomplete information.
6. Limitation of Liability
Steady Fleet Logistics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
Our maximum liability is limited to the lesser of:
- The declared value of the shipment, or
- $0.50 per pound of freight, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
7. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations must be made in writing before pickup. Once freight is in transit, refunds are not available.
If a load is canceled after dispatch, a truck order not used (TONU) fee may apply.
8. Website Usage
All website content — including text, logos, and media — is the property of Steady Fleet Logistics.
Unauthorized copying or use is prohibited.
We strive to keep website information accurate and up to date, but we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or complete.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
